I LOVE YANG KEE BBQ! I was born and raised in Portland, and this is where me and my late grandfather would come eat lunch every time we got together. They have the best wonton soup I have found anywhere, I mean anywhere, China included! I also highly recommend the duck, fried shrimp, and chow fun. This is one of those places that even if I am only back in Portland for a weekend, I make sure to come to!

The big game wonton soup is delicious! The secret menu item (D11) is worth making the trek into the restaurant... You won't be able to order it on food delivery apps.

This place was a winner. So glad we found this spot. We ordered to go but they do have few tables to sit at if you dined in. Service was decent. The lady was VERY helpful. We ordered chicken chow fun, duck, crispy pork, wonton soup and char sui. The chow fun was one of the best I've had in a while! It was cooked perfectly. Duck was ok but the pork and char sui was a hit! The wonton soup was also good.

Came here for a quick lunch because we were in the area to pick something up. We are so glad we came here because the food is delicious and comforting The interior is a no frills place but I knew it was authentic the minute I walked in because of the familiar smells. We ordered the beef chow fun and a rice plate with roast pork + bbq pork. The beef chow fun is $17, plenty to share. I enjoyed that the noodles were not too thick and it was cooked perfectly. It had a very nice "wok hei" taste. My only comment is I wish there was more beef, but regardless it was good and I would definitely get it again! The roast pork plate is $15, and to add extra meat it's $6. I wish the dish came with sauce, but otherwise the pork was flavorful. We ended up leaving with leftovers and still ordered a pound of crispy roast pork to take back home! The roast pork was $14.50 a pound, which I think is pretty standard these days. Keep in mind that they will not do half pound orders. I will definitely have to try their noodle soups and other dry noodle options the next time I come!

i've been on the HUNT for chow fun ever since my to go place shut down :( gave this place a try and i am quite satisfied with it! the food portions are MASSIVE (as you can see compared to my hand in the photo). an absolute bang forcyour buck!! i went during lunch and it wasnt crazy busy so we were seated, order taken, food came out super quick! the location is a bit out of my way but if im craving chow fun, i would definitely make the drive for it. the restaurant operates as a sit down, take out, and retail. while dining in, i saw plenty of people coming in to pick up their take out/order or even just to buy the products they had already prepared.

I cannot believe how delicious the BBQ pork chow mein and won tons are!!!! This is hands down THE BEST authentic Chinese food I've EVER had!! That being said, I did order the more traditional route on a menu that had very authentic Chinese food. Now this restaurant isn't the typical "first thing on the menu is orange/sweet and sour chicken" style. So please keep that in mind as I know trying new foods can be overwhelming for some folks. The ambiance is also very basic, but I'm not paying for ambiance, I love delicious food!!!! The server checked in on us and all interactions were short and sweet! Those wontons were FIRE!!!!!!! The hubby and I are returning today because he tried my leftovers (there wasn't much) and was very impressed!!!! Update! Had to edit my review because we went in again and that chow fun in gravy is BOMB!!!! My husband said he couldn't believe something could top the BBQ pork chow mein!!! Give this place a go!! This will be the 3rd day in a row I'm going!!

This is a no-frills restaurant tucked in a strip mall. There's duck and pork hanging in the front and a Chinese-speaking staff so you know it's legit. There's a variety of noodle dishes, and the wontons are solid. We ordered the wonton noodle soup with bbq pork. Good prices and friendly staff. Will come back again.

Thumbs up ~ sizeable piping hot bowl of dumpling soup, smooth flavor. Mound of Chow Mein noodles fresh & hot. Prices are right on. Not the most pleasing decor, a bit grungy. Service was smiley & friendly. Packed with regulars.

Traditional wonton and fish ball soup. Life is good when you can have hot soup. Reminds me of when I eat on the street foods in Kowloon, HK Come enjoy local business at least weekly. Peace & Many Rich Blessings
